Ganthi is a small village of 1943 hectares in Desuri Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ganthi depends on Sadri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 88.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ganthi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ganthi's pin code is 306703[4], and village code is 02460400. The area of Ganthi is segregated as 110 hectares irrigated area, 253 hectares unirrigated, the 214 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 93 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ganthi has Three public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Ganthi has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Ganthi is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2573 and has total administration over 484 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Ganthi has 434 children, 209 boys and 225 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 620 (24.10%) males constitute 313 (12.16%) of the population and females 307 (11.93%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 549 (21.34%) males constitute 273 (10.61%) of the population and females 276 (10.73%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sadri and Pali to sell bricks and make their living.
