Ganwar is a small village of 1968 hectares in Malpura Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ganwar depends on Malpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Ganwar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ganwar's pin code is 304502[4], and village code is 02591300. The area of Ganwar is segregated as 37 hectares irrigated area, 1116 hectares unirrigated, the 92 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 723 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ganwar has One post office (Ganwar B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Ganwar has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Ganwar is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2214 and has total administration over 554 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Ganwar has 297 children, 159 boys and 138 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 653 (29.49%) males constitute 329 (14.86%) of the population and females 324 (14.63%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Malpura and Tonk to sell earthen pot and make their living.
