Garda is a small village of 867 hectares in Aklera Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Garda depends on Aklera, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Garda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Garda's pin code is 326039[4], and village code is 04053700. The area of Garda is segregated as 97.08 hectares irrigated area, 119.29 hectares unirrigated, the 126.39 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 337.68 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Garda has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Garda is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1197 and has total administration over 243 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 229 (19.13%) males constitute 124 (10.36%) of the population and females 105 (8.77%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Aklera and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
