Garway is a small village of 368 hectares in Mandal Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Garway depends on Deogarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 2.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Garway is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Garway's pin code is 311804[4], and village code is 02837100. The area of Garway is segregated as 43 hectares irrigated area, 26 hectares unirrigated, the 270 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 29 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Garway has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Garway is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 450 and has total administration over 120 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Garway has 86 children, 42 boys and 44 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 203 (45.11%) males constitute 97 (21.56%) of the population and females 106 (23.56%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 37 (8.22%) males constitute 16 (3.56%) of the population and females 21 (4.67%).

The workforce is 118 male, 132 female with 247 (98.8%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 117 males and 130 females. 86 males and 119 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 2 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 3 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Deogarh and Bhilwara to sell earthen pot and make their living.
