George Farmer is a British aquascaper notable for his work on YouTube [1]and in the Fishkeeping hobby. Born 22 Aug 1976 (Age: 44) he is one of the Co-founders of the UK Aquatic Plant Society (UKAPS). His aim is to promote fishkeeping and more importantly the Aquascaping . He is a somewhat regular writer for Practical Fishkeeping Magazine writing articles about different aquatic plant species.
His YouTube channel has over 150,000 subscribers as of 01/11/2020 his aquascaping videos have had over 25 million views at the time of writing[1]. His video's show his development through the hobby. He also has had hundreds of articles and photographs published in magazines from the UK, USA, Germany, and France. George has aquascaped for the Royal Horticultural Society and has traveled all over the world to give aquascaping workshops and conferences. Most recently he has written a book using his own photo's and all of his knowledge, to help others develop their aquascaping.
In other work he has developed a line of fish tanks which makes aquascaping more accessible to more people, with the overall goal to make sure everyone knows about aquascaping.[2]
