Ghadawa is a small village of 712 hectares in Chirawa Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ghadawa depends on CHIRAWA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 410.12% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ghadawa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Ghadawa's pin code is 333026[4], and village code is 00703900. The area of Ghadawa is segregated as 410.12 hectares irrigated area, 178.88 hectares unirrigated, the 105.46 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 17.65 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ghadawa has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Ghadawa is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1798 and has total administration over 352 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Ghadawa has 183 children, 99 boys and 84 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 149 (8.29%) males constitute 70 (3.89%) of the population and females 79 (4.39%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of CHIRAWA and Jhunjhunu to sell wood furniture and make their living.
