Ghana is a small village of 3726 hectares in Ahore Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ghana depends on JODHPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 16.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ghana is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of JODHPUR and Jalor to sell earthen pot and make their living.
