Ghantiyala is a small village of 2251 hectares in Jodhpur Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ghantiyala depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ghantiyala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Ghantiyala's pin code is 342024[4], and village code is 01957500. The area of Ghantiyala is segregated as 1939 hectares unirrigated, the 109 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 195 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ghantiyala is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3402 and has total administration over 565 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

According to a census 2011 report, 1298 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 897 male, 401 female with 836 (64.41%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 804 males and 32 females. 227 males and 10 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 13 male and 3 female agricultural labor. 462 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
