Ghardana Khurd is a small village of 1466 hectares in Buhana Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ghardana Khurd depends on CHIRAWA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 906.10% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ghardana Khurd is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of CHIRAWA and Jhunjhunu to sell earthen pot and make their living.
