Ghasipura is a small village of 546 hectares in Shahpura Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ghasipura depends on Shahpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ghasipura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Ghasipura's pin code is 303103[4], and village code is 01475500. The area of Ghasipura is segregated as 103.91 hectares irrigated area, 167 hectares unirrigated, the 134 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 39 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ghasipura has One post office (Ghasipura B.O). Ghasipura has Two banks and One credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Ghasipura is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2022 and has total administration over 349 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Ghasipura has 314 children, 179 boys and 135 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 399 (19.73%) males constitute 200 (9.89%) of the population and females 199 (9.84%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 317 (15.68%) males constitute 167 (8.26%) of the population and females 150 (7.42%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Shahpura and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
