Ghasiyar is a small village of 292 hectares in Girwa Tehsil in Udaipur district, also called 'the city of lakes' set amidst the Aravalli Ranges in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ghasiyar depends on Udaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 4.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ghasiyar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Ghasiyar's pin code is 313011[4], and village code is 03141300. The area of Ghasiyar is segregated as 5 hectares irrigated area, 29 hectares unirrigated, the 62 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 194.72 hectare area not available for cultivation

Ghasiyar is a census village in the district of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 273 and has total administration over 59 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled tribe counts for 242 (88.64%) males constitute 122 (44.69%) of the population and females 120 (43.96%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Udaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
