Ghati is a small village of 551 hectares in Gangdhar Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ghati depends on Kolvi Mandi Rajendrapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ghati is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ghati's pin code is 326514[4], and village code is 04134200. The area of Ghati is segregated as 89.45 hectares irrigated area, 79.45 hectares unirrigated, the 74.4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 94.98 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ghati is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 532 and has total administration over 104 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 184 (34.59%) males constitute 95 (17.86%) of the population and females 89 (16.73%).

The workforce is 167 male, 133 female with 194 (64.67%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 157 males and 37 females. 92 males and 8 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 42 male and 27 female agricultural labor. 106 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kolvi Mandi Rajendrapur and Jhalawar to sell mawa and make their living.
