Ghati is a small village of 1068 hectares in Malpura Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ghati depends on Malpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ghati is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ghati's pin code is 304502[4], and village code is 02599100. The area of Ghati is segregated as 340.96 hectares irrigated area, 33.14 hectares unirrigated, the 273.15 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 123.93 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ghati has One public telephone. Ghati has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Ghati is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1372 and has total administration over 259 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 329 (23.98%) males constitute 159 (11.59%) of the population and females 170 (12.39%).

The workforce is 340 male, 365 female with 363 (51.49%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 204 males and 159 females. 122 males and 109 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 41 male and 45 female agricultural labor. 342 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Malpura and Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
