Ghatla is a small village of 849 hectares in Alwar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ghatla depends on KHAIRTHAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 299.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ghatla is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ghatla's pin code is 301404[4], and village code is 00845000. The area of Ghatla is segregated as 366 hectares irrigated area, 93 hectares unirrigated, the 74.22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 316 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ghatla has One post office (Ghatla B.O) and Ten public telephones. Ghatla has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Ghatla is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2711 and has total administration over 472 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Ghatla has 563 children, 310 boys and 253 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 821 (30.28%) males constitute 424 (15.64%) of the population and females 397 (14.64%).

The workforce is 737 male, 557 female with 733 (56.65%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 549 males and 184 females. 332 males and 154 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 46 male and 14 female agricultural labor. 561 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KHAIRTHAL and Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
