Godhan is a small village of 1014 hectares in Kheenvsar Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Godhan depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Godhan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Godhan's pin code is 341001[4], and village code is 01822400. The area of Godhan is segregated as 17 hectares irrigated area, 885 hectares unirrigated, the 82.02 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 30 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Godhan has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Godhan is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1373 and has total administration over 225 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 415 (30.23%) males constitute 210 (15.29%) of the population and females 205 (14.93%).

The workforce is 373 male, 337 female with 491 (69.15%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 359 males and 132 females. 267 males and 80 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 26 male and 21 female agricultural labor. 219 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nagaur to sell earthen pots and make their living.
