Gogade is a small village of 2897 hectares in Jaisalmer Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gogade depends on JAISALMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gogade is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Gogade's pin code is 345001[4], and village code is 02025100. The area of Gogade is segregated as 273.72 hectares unirrigated, the 2606.84 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 16.36 hectare area not available for cultivation.
