Gol is a small village of 968 hectares in Lalsot Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gol depends on Lalsot, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 100.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Gol is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gol's pin code is 303511[4], and village code is 01421500. The area of Gol is segregated as 282 hectares irrigated area, 63 hectares unirrigated, the 111 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 34 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Gol has One public telephone. Gol has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Gol is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2185 and has total administration over 397 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Gol has 382 children, 197 boys and 185 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 510 (23.34%) males constitute 253 (11.58%) of the population and females 257 (11.76%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 789 (36.11%) males constitute 420 (19.22%) of the population and females 369 (16.89%).

The workforce is 515 male, 534 female with 617 (58.82%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 466 males and 151 females. 431 males and 134 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 16 male and 13 female agricultural labor. 432 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Lalsot and Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
