Gola is a small village of 617 hectares in Sheoganj Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gola depends on SHEOGANJ, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 16.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gola is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gola's pin code is 307028[4], and village code is 02343200. The area of Gola is segregated as 46.83 hectares irrigated area, 16.28 hectares unirrigated, the 226.6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 166.86 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Gola is a census village in the district of Sirohi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 245 and has total administration over 461 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 48 (19.59%) males constitute 38 (15.51%) of the population and females 19 (7.76%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 12 (4.90%) males constitute 7 (2.86%) of the population and females 217 (88.57%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SHEOGANJ and Sirohi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
