Grégoire Nitot was born in 1976 in Caen in Normandy, France. He is the founder and CEO of Sii Polska, holding 30% of the company's shares.[1] He is also the owner and CEO of Polonia Warszawa football club (since March 2020)[2] and Tawerna Kaszubska, a small guesthouse in Kashubia region (since 2018).[3] Besides, he is the author of the blog: gregoirenitot.com.[4] Grégoire Nitot has lived in Warsaw since 2006, and in 2016 he obtained a Polish citizenship.[3]
Grégoire Nitot grew up living on a boat on the Seine river in Paris. He was thinking of becoming a footballer, but connected his future with business. He completed his Master’s degree at Rennes School of Business. In 2000 he came to Poland to spend a year at Szkoła Główna Handlowa in Warsaw as part of the Erasmus student exchange programme. After graduation, he returned to France.[5]
In around 2000, Grégoire Nitot worked as Sales Manager in the IT sector in Paris. In 2006 he decided to move to Poland and establish Sii Poland. With €30,000 of savings, he started looking for an investor. In January 2006, after successful negotiations with Sii France, he launched Sii Poland alone with the total capital of €100 000 in a small flat in the Warsaw city center.[6]
Since entering the market in 2006 as a one-person startup, Sii Poland has evolved into an organisation generating a yearly revenue of over 800 million PLN (€200 million), employing more than 4 500 specialists in 14 branches across the country. Sii Poland's mission is to identify and promote the best workers. The company provides IT, engineering, digital, and BPO services to clients from all over the world.[7]
In March 2020 Grégoire Nitot invested in Polonia Warszawa football club. His plan is to bring the club back to Ekstraklasa by 2030.[8]
Grégoire Nitot is married to a Pole Irena and has 4 children: Szymon, Juliette, Chloe, and step-daughter Kamila.[9]
