Gulgaon is a small village of 1690 hectares in Malpura Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gulgaon depends on Malpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 1.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gulgaon is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gulgaon's pin code is 304503[4], and village code is 02592700. The area of Gulgaon is segregated as 55 hectares irrigated area, 1310 hectares unirrigated, the 241 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 84 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Gulgaon is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 949 and has total administration over 172 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 243 male, 206 female with 380 (84.63%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 218 males and 162 females. 83 males and 21 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 28 male and 106 female agricultural labor. 69 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Malpura and Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
