Gulpara is a small village of 593 hectares in Nagar Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gulpara depends on Nagar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 10.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gulpara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gulpara's pin code is 321024[4], and village code is 00989000. The area of Gulpara is segregated as 310 hectares irrigated area, 144 hectares unirrigated, the 82 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 42 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Gulpara has One post office (Gulpada B.O) and Four public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Gulpara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Gulpara is a census village in the district of Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4459 and has total administration over 699 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 1150 (25.79%) males constitute 595 (13.34%) of the population and females 555 (12.45%).

According to a census 2011 report, 1966 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1106 male, 860 female with 725 (36.88%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 611 males and 114 females. 198 males and 49 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 138 male and 34 female agricultural labor. 1241 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nagar and Bharatpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
