Gunsar is a small village of 419 hectares in Kotkasim Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gunsar depends on KISHANGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gunsar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gunsar's pin code is 301702[4], and village code is 00792600. The area of Gunsar is segregated as 362 hectares irrigated area, 32 hectares unirrigated, the 11 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 14 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Gunsar is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2060 and has total administration over 386 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Gunsar has 290 children, 161 boys and 129 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 257 (12.48%) males constitute 132 (6.41%) of the population and females 125 (6.07%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KISHANGARH and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
