Guradi is a small village of 406 hectares in Chhipabarod Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Guradi depends on Chhipabarod, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 20.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Guradi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Guradi's pin code is 325221[4], and village code is 03969300. The area of Guradi is segregated as 220 hectares irrigated area, 7 hectares unirrigated, the 22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 98.6 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Guradi has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Guradi is a census village in the district of Baran, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1422 and has total administration over 314 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Guradi has 237 children, 116 boys and 121 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 120 (8.44%) males constitute 62 (4.36%) of the population and females 58 (4.08%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 1235 (86.85%) males constitute 631 (44.37%) of the population and females 604 (42.48%).

The workforce is 376 male, 372 female with 580 (77.54%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 338 males and 242 females. 283 males and 215 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 8 male and 11 female agricultural labor. 168 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chhipabarod and Baran to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
