Gurla is a small village of 625 hectares in Bamanwas Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gurla depends on GANGAPUR CITY, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 20.01% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gurla is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gurla's pin code is 322211[4], and village code is 01276300. The area of Gurla is segregated as 236.49 hectares irrigated area, 114.72 hectares unirrigated, the 37.97 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 33.63 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Gurla is a census village in the district of Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 716 and has total administration over 118 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of GANGAPUR CITY and Sawai Madhopur to sell broom and make their living.
