Gurli is a small village of 454 hectares in Nadoti Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gurli depends on GANGAPUR CITY, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gurli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Gurli's pin code is 322204[4], and village code is 01203800. The area of Gurli is segregated as 18.97 hectares irrigated area, 307.36 hectares unirrigated, the 76.54 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 51.5 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Gurli has One post office (Bagor B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Gurli has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Gurli is a census village in the district of Karauli, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 861 and has total administration over 144 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Gurli has 94 children, 50 boys and 44 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 193 (22.42%) males constitute 101 (11.73%) of the population and females 92 (10.69%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 546 (63.41%) males constitute 282 (32.75%) of the population and females 264 (30.66%).

The workforce is 195 male, 199 female with 345 (87.56%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 176 males and 169 females. 116 males and 150 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 3 female agricultural labor. 49 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of GANGAPUR CITY and Karauli to sell ghee and make their living.
