Hamawas is a small village of 88 hectares in Lalsot Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hamawas depends on Dausa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hamawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Hamawas's pin code is 303505[4], and village code is 01419900. The area of Hamawas is segregated as 35 hectares irrigated area, 45 hectares unirrigated, the 1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 7 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Hamawas has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Hamawas is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 842 and has total administration over 128 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Hamawas has 140 children, 67 boys and 73 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 170 (20.19%) males constitute 90 (10.69%) of the population and females 80 (9.50%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 444 (52.73%) males constitute 227 (26.96%) of the population and females 217 (25.77%).

The workforce is 282 male, 274 female with 376 (67.63%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 188 males and 188 females. 161 males and 170 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 3 male and 14 female agricultural labor. 180 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
