Handli is a small village of 180 hectares in Baswa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Handli depends on Bandikui, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 117.66% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Handli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Handli's pin code is 303315[4], and village code is 01358600. The area of Handli is segregated as 117.66 hectares irrigated area, 10.23 hectares unirrigated, the 51.49 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 0.86 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Handli has One public telephone. Handli has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Handli is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 752 and has total administration over 152 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Handli has 112 children, 58 boys and 54 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 177 (23.54%) males constitute 86 (11.44%) of the population and females 91 (12.10%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 73 (9.71%) males constitute 45 (5.98%) of the population and females 28 (3.72%).

The workforce is 184 male, 193 female with 169 (44.83%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 118 males and 51 females. 56 males and 8 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 41 male and 38 female agricultural labor. 208 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bandikui and Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
