Haripura is a small village of 445 hectares in Chirawa Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Haripura depends on Jhunjhunu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 78.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Haripura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Haripura's pin code is 333025[4], and village code is 00672400. The area of Haripura is segregated as 78 hectares irrigated area, 304 hectares unirrigated, the 56 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 7 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Haripura has One post office (Budania B.O) and Three public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Haripura has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Haripura is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 707 and has total administration over 138 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Haripura has 96 children, 46 boys and 50 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 349 (49.36%) males constitute 170 (24.05%) of the population and females 179 (25.32%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 6 (0.85%) males constitute 2 (0.28%) of the population and females 4 (0.57%).

The workforce is 189 male, 223 female with 176 (42.72%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 143 males and 33 females. 108 males and 17 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 10 male and 3 female agricultural labor. 236 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhunjhunu to sell wood furniture and make their living.
