Hariyana is a small village of 1025 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hariyana depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hariyana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Hariyana's pin code is 342001[4], and village code is 01992000. The area of Hariyana is segregated as 969 hectares unirrigated, the 49 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 7 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Hariyana has One public telephone. Hariyana has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Hariyana is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 618 and has total administration over 110 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 115 (18.61%) males constitute 66 (10.68%) of the population and females 49 (7.93%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
