Harsota is a small village of 639 hectares in Bonli Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Harsota depends on SAWAI MADHOPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 21.05% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Harsota is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Harsota's pin code is 322024[4], and village code is 01303800. The area of Harsota is segregated as 96.97 hectares irrigated area, 459.15 hectares unirrigated, the 47.87 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 34.84 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Harsota is a census village in the district of Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 885 and has total administration over 142 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 217 (24.52%) males constitute 119 (13.45%) of the population and females 98 (11.07%).

The workforce is 314 male, 267 female with 323 (55.59%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 172 males and 151 females. 115 males and 134 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 6 male and 6 female agricultural labor. 258 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sawai Madhopur to sell ghee and make their living.
