Hassan Ahmed or Hassan Ahmad is an Iraqi football coach and a past soccer player. Ahmed coached many teams, and now is coaching Al-Najaf since July 2019.[1]
Ahmad coached Al-Naft for 4 Years from 2015 until 2019. Since 20 May of 2015,[2]. Ahmad created many great players, and led the team into huge success in the league, getting fourth place once in 18-19 season, also third place in 17-18 season, and the main success in 16-17 season when Al-Naft were the runner-up behind Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya by 4 points. Ahmad also went to the second round of the Arab Club Champions Cup in 2018-19, ended up losing to the runner-up of the cup Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia. Ahmad is considered on of the great coaches for the club's history. Ahmad ended up leaving the club in 11 March of 2019 after failing to win in 7 games in arrow.[3].
Hassan's next step was in south of Iraq. Al-Najaf FC made a deal with Hasan Ahmad to take the coaching role until the end of season.[4] Ahmad resigned on 29 October of 2019, due to financial problems that the club has. The board refused and then Ahmad agreed with the club to sty and the club's chairman Doctor Radwan Al Kindi promised better conditions financially.[5]
