Hasteda is a small village of 2148 hectares in Chomu Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hasteda depends on Chomu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 1161.33% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hasteda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Hasteda's pin code is 303712[4], and village code is 01482500. The area of Hasteda is segregated as 1249 hectares irrigated area, 268.33 hectares unirrigated, the 136.69 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 78.86 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Hasteda has One post office (Hasteda B.O) and Ten public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Hasteda has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Hasteda is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4489 and has total administration over 757 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Hasteda has 667 children, 347 boys and 320 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 1182 (26.33%) males constitute 607 (13.52%) of the population and females 575 (12.81%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 337 (7.51%) males constitute 170 (3.79%) of the population and females 167 (3.72%).

According to a census 2011 report, 1785 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1087 male, 698 female with 1360 (76.19%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 958 males and 402 females. 181 males and 140 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 62 male and 46 female agricultural labor. 425 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chomu and Jaipur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
