Helak is a small village of 922 hectares in Kumher Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Helak depends on Kumher, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Helak is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kumher and Bharatpur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
