Hindoli is a small village of 1586 hectares in Hindoli Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hindoli depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 150.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hindoli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Hindoli's pin code is 323023[3], and village code is 02703900. The area of Hindoli is segregated as 301 hectares irrigated area, 317 hectares unirrigated, the 274 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 437 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Hindoli has One post office (Hindoli S.O) and Three Hundred Fifty public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Hindoli has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Hindoli is a census village in the district of Bundi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 221601 and has total administration over 45311 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Hindoli has 33074 children, 17332 boys and 15742 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 41057 (18.53%) males constitute 21133 (9.54%) of the population and females 19924 (8.99%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 41022 (18.51%) males constitute 21369 (9.64%) of the population and females 19653 (8.87%).

According to a census 2011 report, 123116 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 67205 male, 55911 female with 77828 (63.22%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 53046 males and 24782 females. 34644 males and 19010 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 4331 male and 3155 female agricultural labor. 45288 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bundi to sell juggary and make their living.
