Hingota is a small village of 294 hectares in Lachhmangarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hingota depends on GOVINDGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hingota is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Hingota's pin code is 321607[4], and village code is 00929500. The area of Hingota is segregated as 27 hectares irrigated area, 255 hectares unirrigated, remaining 11.82 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Hingota has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Hingota is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1307 and has total administration over 181 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Hingota has 275 children, 155 boys and 120 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 52 (3.98%) males constitute 30 (2.30%) of the population and females 22 (1.68%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 47 (3.60%) males constitute 27 (2.07%) of the population and females 20 (1.53%).

The workforce is 316 male, 302 female with 536 (86.73%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 270 males and 266 females. 183 males and 250 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 15 male and 11 female agricultural labor. 82 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of GOVINDGARH and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
