Hingota is a small village of 206 hectares in Weir Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hingota depends on Nagar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hingota is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Hingota's pin code is 321407[4], and village code is 01002100. The area of Hingota is segregated as 56.08 hectares irrigated area, 134.43 hectares unirrigated, the 5.64 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 9.5 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Hingota has One post office (Bachhren B.O) and One public telephone. Hingota has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Hingota is a census village in the district of Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1449 and has total administration over 197 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Hingota has 312 children, 161 boys and 151 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 67 (4.62%) males constitute 41 (2.83%) of the population and females 26 (1.79%).

The workforce is 349 male, 356 female with 345 (48.94%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 300 males and 45 females. 174 males and 35 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 16 male and 3 female agricultural labor. 360 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nagar and Bharatpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
