Holly Rubenstein (born 20 February 1988) is a British-American broadcaster and journalist, based in London, England. She is primarily known as the host of the award-winning podcast, The Travel Diaries.[1]
Rubenstein was brought up in Surrey, England. She studied Social Anthropology at the London School of Economics.[2]
Rubenstein is a journalist and podcast host. She began her career working as an entertainment correspondent for Reuters and the BBC, before joining ITV Breakfast’s Good Morning Britain as the Entertainment Producer.[2][3]
She became Contributing Editor of Country & Town House Magazine, writing a monthly column where she interviewed celebrities about the travel destinations that shaped their lives called the Bucket List. This idea led to the conception of The Travel Diaries podcast.[4][5][6]
Rubenstein is the presenter and producer of the podcast.[7][8]
Each week, The podcast was in part inspired by the radio show Desert Island Discs, but with travel destinations rather than music, at its heart.[9][10]
Guests have included Joanna Lumley, Stanley Tucci, Miriam Margolyes and Michael Palin.[11][12]
