Honey Bafna is an Indian actor who appears in Bengali television and films. He is known for playing Rishi in the popular social drama Bokul Kotha that was aired on GEC Zee Bangla. He graduated in Science from Ashutosh College, and worked as a Medical Representative before joining the television industry.[1][2]
Coming from a non-film background, his first appearance was in the Bengali serial Tumi Ashbe Bole, where he played a grey character. His next major appearance was in the Bengali Serial Bhakter Bhagoban Shri Krishna as the second lead, where he played Balaram. He then went on to play the male protagonist Rishi[3][4] in the Bengali drama Bokul Kotha[5]. After wrapping up of the much loved Bokul Kotha, Honey is appearing as the protagonist in the under-production film Purnima[6]
Being born in a Marwari-Jain family in Kolkata Honey is a self confessed foodie[7] and an ardent sports enthusiast. He also conducts acting workshops at Udita Learning an acting school when time permits.
