Hassani holds Bsc in Statistics from Razi University, MSc in Statistics from Shahid Beheshti University, and PhD in Statistics from Cardiff University.[1]

Hassani is a professional with over 20 years of expertise in data science, statistics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital twins, and big data analytics.[2] His career includes collaboration with a variety of international organizations, including the United Nations (UN), World Health Organization (WHO), and the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), engaging with diverse, multidisciplinary stakeholders globally.
Hassani is Director of Data Science and Technology Innovation at International Association for the Advancement of Innovative Approaches to Global Challenges, and a Senior Research Scholar at International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis. He is the Professor (Adjunct) at Webster Vienna Private University. He was the head of Statistics Team at OPEC and Associate Professor in Statistics and Econometrics at Bournemouth University and Lecturer in Statistics at Cardiff University.[3][4]
With a focus on leveraging data and technology to address complex global challenges such as climate change, poverty, energy poverty, health, and education, Hassani has contributed substantially to the field.[5]
