The Humanoids Summit is a premier event that brings together innovators, manufacturers, researchers, and investors from across the humanoid robotics ecosystem. The summit emphasizes accelerating the mass production, commercialization, and capital allocation needed to scale humanoid robots globally. The event showcases advancements in AI in human form and embodied AI, pushing the boundaries of robotics innovation.[1][2]
The Humanoids Summit was founded in 2024 by Modar Alaoui, with the inaugural event scheduled to take place at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California, on December 11th and 12th, 2024.[3][4]
TThe event is organized by Moroccan-American entrepreneur and artificial intelligence (AI) expert Modar Alaoui, founder of ALM Ventures, a DeepTech venture firm focused on humanoid robotics, AI, and automotive technologies.
The summit features a series of keynotes, panel discussions, and live demos from leading humanoid robotics companies and visionaries.[5]
The Humanoids Summit focuses on the commercialization, mass production, and capital allocation necessary to scale humanoid robotics for global adoption. Discussions will delve into functional safety for real-world applications, the role of artificial intelligence in enabling autonomy and advanced humanoid functionalities, and innovative design approaches tailored for humanoid robotics. The event also explores the use of humanoid robots in entertainment and emerging industries, bridging the gap between research, manufacturing, and market deployment.
Participants at the summit include leading companies and organizations showcasing their latest advancements in humanoid robotics and related technologies. These include 1x, Unitree, Agility, Apptronik, Enchanted Tools, Hanson Robotics, Engineered Arts, NVIDIA, Hugging Face, The Robot Studio, K-Scale Labs, Red Rabbit Robotics, Kind Humanoid, UCR.bot, Shadow Robotics, Psyonic, Alt-Bionics, Harmonic Drive, Novanta, Hexagon, Igus, Movella, Synapticon, Beckhoff, Schunk, Imsystems, CCTY Bearings, Lin Engineering, Sensible Robotics, Robotics Crew, Silicon Valley Robotics,[6] Open Robotics, and many more.[7][8]
The summit features a dedicated Humanoid Venture Capital (VC) day, focusing on capital allocation and investment opportunities in humanoid robotics. More than 50 prominent VCs from Silicon Valley and beyond are expected to attend.[9]
In addition to keynotes, the event features numerous exhibitors from the humanoid and quadruped robotics industries, showcasing the latest innovations in robotics and AI.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in exclusive networking receptions hosted by a Michelin-starred chef at the Shashi Hotel.
The summit aims to foster discussions and collaborations that will drive the next generation of humanoid robots. By bringing together both manufacturers and buyers (with a projected 60-40 split), the event seeks to create a strong platform for partnerships and advancements within the robotics industry.
