'Annalisa Giolo Dunker, Inanna, is a singer-songwriter, performer and belly dancer. Born in Italy on June 19, 1983, from an independent entrepreneur father and a psychologist mother, in her two-decade career in music Inanna has developed an eclectic musical style ranging from pop and alternative to world and Middle Eastern music. Her genre has been labeled "pyramid-pop" and "eco-ethno-pop" because of the ethnic influences and the environmentalist message.

The ecological content in her lyrics and imagery makes her one of the few musicians who dedicate their work entirely to creating awareness around environmentalist and animalist topics.

Life and career[edit]
