Indas is a small village of 1633 hectares in Nagaur Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Indas depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Indas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Indas's pin code is 341001[4], and village code is 01806200. The area of Indas is segregated as 1460.2 hectares unirrigated, the 140.2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 32.11 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Indas has One post office (Gogelao B.O) and Ten public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Indas has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Indas is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2444 and has total administration over 387 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Indas has 405 children, 207 boys and 198 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 364 (14.89%) males constitute 195 (7.98%) of the population and females 169 (6.91%).

The workforce is 625 male, 583 female with 891 (73.76%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 555 males and 336 females. 424 males and 327 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 2 male and 5 female agricultural labor. 317 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nagaur to sell earthen pots and make their living.
