Indragarh is a small village of 203 hectares in Alwar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Indragarh depends on ALWAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 48.56% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Indragarh is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Indragarh's pin code is 301030[4], and village code is 00857900. The area of Indragarh is segregated as 84.38 hectares irrigated area, 87.6 hectares unirrigated, the 21.42 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 10 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Indragarh has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Indragarh is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 998 and has total administration over 211 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Indragarh has 130 children, 52 boys and 78 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 610 (61.12%) males constitute 296 (29.66%) of the population and females 314 (31.46%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 150 (15.03%) males constitute 82 (8.22%) of the population and females 68 (6.81%).

The workforce is 244 male, 195 female with 375 (85.42%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 225 males and 150 females. 167 males and 125 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 24 male and 20 female agricultural labor. 64 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
