Indragarh is a small village of 466 hectares in Jamwa Ramgarh Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Indragarh depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 114.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Indragarh is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Indragarh's pin code is 302027[4], and village code is 01595300. The area of Indragarh is segregated as 114 hectares irrigated area, 99 hectares unirrigated, the 189.09 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 64 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Indragarh has One post office (Crpf Campus Lalwas S.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Indragarh has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Indragarh is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1924 and has total administration over 283 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Indragarh has 315 children, 180 boys and 135 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 669 (34.77%) males constitute 365 (18.97%) of the population and females 304 (15.80%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 657 (34.15%) males constitute 331 (17.20%) of the population and females 326 (16.94%).

The workforce is 415 male, 434 female with 279 (32.86%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 175 males and 104 females. 58 males and 93 females are considered as the main cultivators. 570 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaipur and Jaipur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
