Itarda is a small village of 144 hectares in Dausa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Itarda depends on Dausa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 86.15% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Itarda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Itarda's pin code is 303506[4], and village code is 01404200. The area of Itarda is segregated as 86.15 hectares irrigated area, 16.52 hectares unirrigated, the 33.87 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 7.77 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Itarda has One public telephone. Itarda has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Itarda is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 326 and has total administration over 51 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Itarda has 46 children, 28 boys and 18 girls.
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 198 (60.74%) males constitute 105 (32.21%) of the population and females 93 (28.53%).

The workforce is 76 male, 72 female with 135 (91.22%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 74 males and 61 females. 69 males and 60 females are considered as the main cultivators. 13 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
