Itauwa is a small village of 457 hectares in Garhi Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Itauwa depends on Partapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Itauwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Itauwa's pin code is 327032[4], and village code is 03420400. The area of Itauwa is segregated as 76 hectares irrigated area, 92 hectares unirrigated, the 70.56 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 218 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Itauwa has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Itauwa is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2289 and has total administration over 443 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 2 (0.09%) males constitute 2 (0.09%) of the population and females 0 (0.0%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 2283 (99.74%) males constitute 1141 (49.85%) of the population and females 1142 (49.89%).

The workforce is 558 male, 573 female with 416 (36.78%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 389 males and 27 females. 348 males and 12 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 20 male and 3 female agricultural labor. 715 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Partapur and Banswara to sell ghee and make their living.
