Itawa is a small village of 912 hectares in Phulera (Hq.Sambhar) Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Itawa depends on Kishangarh Renwal, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 626.45% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Itawa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Itawa's pin code is 303338[4], and village code is 01489600. The area of Itawa is segregated as 703.48 hectares irrigated area, 48.42 hectares unirrigated, the 89.17 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 71.19 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Itawa has One post office (Teja Ka Bas B.O) and Twenty Three public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Itawa has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Itawa is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4299 and has total administration over 672 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 1348 (31.36%) males constitute 682 (15.86%) of the population and females 666 (15.49%).

According to a census 2011 report, 2222 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1218 male, 1004 female with 1183 (53.24%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 876 males and 307 females. 358 males and 216 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 147 male and 56 female agricultural labor. 1039 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kishangarh Renwal and Jaipur to sell ghee and make their living.
