JK Majlish[1][2] is a Bangladeshi film composer, record producer, singer, and songwriter. JK Majlish born in Dhaka on 28 December 1979. He has been awarded as the best music director in 2021 from Oikko Channel channel i music awards[3][4][5][6][7][8] for the song Baroti Mashe from the Audio Album Pagli Suraiya and the lyric of the song was written by Sudip Kumar Dip. JK Majlish has been working in the Bangladeshi Musical arena for the last 23 years. His musical work expanded in film, drama, jingles, audio albums, tv shows, etc. Famous Bangladeshi singer Nazmun Munira Nancy won her 2nd Meril-Prothom Alo Awards in 2010 for the song Shishirveja which was composed and produced by JK Majlish. Popular Indian singer Nachiketa was the co-singer of that song. JK Majlish worked in several movies as a Music Director. Valobasha Emoni Hoy, Nolok (film) are some of them.[9][10]JK Majlish is also a successful Music Director of the show named Folk Station[11][12] broadcasted on a national TV channel RTV (Bangladeshi TV channel). The popular music director also was awarded by RTV Music Award 2020[13] as the music director of the top viewed song sokhi go amar mon vala na.[14]Recently Majlish has been awarded as the best music director of 2019 from Babisas Awards for the popular song Assam Jabo[15] sang by popular folk sing Sayera Reza

Early Life[edit]

JK Majlish started learning music from the age of 6 on 1985. His first Mentor was Ustad Khurshed Khan Majlish his own Grand Father. Later on, he learned his musical lesson's from many Mentor's Named Hafizur Rahman, Shibu Roy and also in Dhaka Ladies club. Later on, he started his own band named The Tantrik as a lead vocal and founder member. They also participated in Benson & Hedges Star Search competition on 2000 and stood runner up. After that the band member's got busy in their professional career but JK Majlish couldn't escape from the love and passion of music. He started his music direction career. While he also sang into a mixed audio album Ekti Harano Biggopti.[16]The name of the song was Mou written by late Kamruzzaman Kajol and composed by Shawkat Ali Emon. Later on JK Majlish done many music compositions till date.

JK Majlish belong's to a Khan Majlish family. His birthdate is 28th December 1979 Dhaka. His family name is Jaker Khan Majlish JK. JK Majlish got married with Sumu Khan Majlish in 2003. He has two children Taiyeba Khan Majlish & Jibril Khan Majlish.
