Jaila is a small village of 865 hectares in Sirohi Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jaila depends on SIROHI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 53.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jaila is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jaila's pin code is 307802[4], and village code is 02354500. The area of Jaila is segregated as 125 hectares irrigated area, 53 hectares unirrigated, the 260 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 427 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jaila has One post office (Jela B.O) and Ten public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Jaila has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Jaila is a census village in the district of Sirohi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 613 and has total administration over 1202 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Jaila has 110 children, 80 boys and 462 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 234 (38.17%) males constitute 228 (37.19%) of the population and females 119 (19.41%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 65 (10.60%) males constitute 54 (8.81%) of the population and females 492 (80.26%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sirohi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
