Jaitasar is a small village of 3980 hectares in Sujangarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jaitasar depends on SARDARSHAHAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jaitasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Jaitasar's pin code is 331411[4], and village code is 00604000. The area of Jaitasar is segregated as 3568.57 hectares unirrigated, remaining 411.42 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jaitasar has One post office (Jaitasar B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Jaitasar has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Jaitasar is a census village in the district of Churu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2177 and has total administration over 442 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Jaitasar has 380 children, 203 boys and 177 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 956 (43.91%) males constitute 523 (24.02%) of the population and females 433 (19.89%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 3 (0.14%) males constitute 1 (0.05%) of the population and females 2 (0.09%).

The workforce is 621 male, 507 female with 1055 (93.53%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 601 males and 454 females. 532 males and 426 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 23 male and 15 female agricultural labor. 73 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SARDARSHAHAR and Churu to sell ghee and make their living.
